SERVED AS STATION MECHANIC 1939/1963,TOOK OVER AFTER THE CAPSIZING OF THE RCHARD SILVER OLIVER IN APRIL 1939.SERVEDTHROUGH OUT THE SECOND WORLD WAR WITH THE RNLI LIFEBOAT WESTMORELAND,ALSO THE RNLI LIFEBOAT ISSAC AND MARY BOLTON,THEN WITH THE RNLI LIFEBOAT SIR JAMES KNOTT.AS FURTHER PROOF OFMY FATHERS SERVICE ,THESE ARE NAMES OF THE INSPECTORS OF THE PERIOD.CAMANDER WHEELER RN,LT COM HARVEY RN, COMANDER L HILL RN,LT COM H TEARE RNR. MY FATHERS SERVICE RECORD WAS ERRASED,BY FORMER HON SEC CALLED TAYLOR,ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS.MYSELF AND MY ELDER BROTHER WOULD LIKE TO SEE OUR FATHERS SERVICE RECORD REINSTATED .THANK YOU.
