The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Sara Lumsdon

Sara, my great friend and travelling companion! A life cut short, but during the time she was with us she enriched our lives. So intelligent and so witty.
I will remember the places we visited - Greece, Italy, Egypt, America, WWI battlefields, WWII Normandy landings, to name but a few.
A teacher for over thirty years passing on her knowledge and guiding the young.
A lover of Sunderland AFC, a keen actress in the local drama group - who can forget her Lady Bracknell!
Her quiz ability was unsurpassed. Easy questions were to be treated with disdain - she liked a challenge!
Sport on tv is not the same - text messages regarding goals I missed, or just general silliness of comments made by so called experts, mean there is a gap in my life.
So long Sara.
