The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Pauline Burton

My mother gave all of her time to the Mudeford RNLI. She was always seen on the quay selling tickets in the little wooden hut in all types of weather, for this she was awarded the silver medal for her commitment, I believe the only lady to achieve this honour, but for mum it was the satisfaction of what she did it for.She was the type of person who always had time for others and for that I loved her dearly and miss her very much. Sadly she passed away in 2005.
