Mum passed away on 30 July 2011, sadly missed by her daughter Pat and family, Eric and family, and all her lovely friends and siblings too. Mum was loved by everyone and was a loving and caring person. She has left a big whole in all of our hearts. Mum lived on St Mary's from 1945 when she married our Dad, Billie Hicks of Maypole, until 1970 when she left to be near her daughter. She was born in Newlyn, and worked as a teenager in the Co-op in Penzance. After leaving Scilly she returned to Scilly every year to spend time with Eric and our late brother Tommy. We didn't come to Scilly this year but will be back next year to bring Mum's ashes, her wish was that she returned to St. Mary's.

RIP Mum, we will love you foreverxxx
