The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Alan Trotter

Also known as: Old Git, Del boy, Popsy.

Alan Murton Trotter

Alan was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne and joined the Merchant Navy in 1958.
He married in 1969 and had two children Sonia and Ian.
He was a keen runner and cyclist up untill he died, and had enjoyed an 18 mile bike ride two days before passing away suddenly in his sleep.

Alan was the heart and sole of the small community in which he lived and a "best Friend" to many especially Sonia.

He was a cheeky chappie who loved to help others and had a "magic" personality.

He will remain in our hearts forever and will be missed every day.

God Bless, sleep tight xxx
