The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Ronald Pett

Also known as: Ron.

Picture of Ronald Pett.

Ron was a Governor of Newland St. John's C.E. V.A. Primary School for 14 years and worked tirelessly to support the school in many ways. He was a driving force in developing our buildidng and also the people.
In his spare time he loved to sail and it was his and his family's wish that money collected following his death should be donated to the RNLI at Spurn Point. This happened on 5th April 2011 when Dave Steenvoorden accepted a cheque for £840.
Ron was a dear friend personally and to the school and is greatly missed. His enthusiasm for all that he endeavoured was an inspiration.
