The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Alexander Grundison Buchanan

In loving memory of the late Alexander Grundison Buchanan sadly washed overboard on 24 December 1928. off the Isle of May. He left a widow, Sarah, and six children - Tommy, Joan, Agnes, Elizabeth, Kenny and Jenny. Times were very hard but they survived, Sadly, his body was never found.

My mother - Agnes - died just before Christmas 2010 and we had a Retiring Collection at her funeral for the RNLI which amounted to £250. This donation was given to RNLI Dunbar.

This intimation is made by all his family - young and old.
