Picture of Mary Hunter

This page has been setup to remember my Gran, Mary Hunter, who was a loving Wife, Mum, Gran and Great Gran.
Grumpsy, as known by the Grand Children and Great Grand Children, was a ray of light in everyones eyes. A small petite woman who had a heart of gold, loved sitting down to do a puzzle, as well as playing cards with the friends she made at Cranmore Court. I remember many a time Mum (Brenda) receiving a phone call from Grumpsy saying she had won again at cards - i think she must have been hustling :-)
Grumpsy loved spending her holidays down in Swanage with Grandad and after he passed away, Mum. Relaxing in the beech hut with a cup of tea and a good book, time would pass them by watching the boats sail past and the waves breaking on the beech.
The RNLI played a small part in Grumpsy life as Grandad, who was a navy man, would always buy souvenirs from the RNLI shop as he was always thankful for the job they do.
Grumpsy, you will always be in our hearts and we will always know you will be looking down on us.
We Love you, we miss you and we know you are now back with Grandad in peace.
Love you always,
Maddie, Ben, Bev, Becca, Ella and Maddison xxx
