The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Norman Gilchrist

Also known as: Norm.

Norman sadly passed away on 22nd October 2010. The RNLI was a cause very close to Norman's heart. He spent part of his life as a trawlerman and spoke very fondly of the work that the RNLI do.

Norman was a generous, happy person, always smiling despite suffering from COPD since 2000. He was a fantastic partner of 12 years to my mum and also a dearly loved and adored step father. Not a day will go by where Norman is not missed for his funny, quirky ways but most of all for being him. What you saw was what you got with Norman. He would do anything for you. Missing you so much and love you very, very much xxxx
