Edward Stanley Cooke (Stan)
Born Lambeth,London 01/01/21.
Sadly passed away, peacefully at Southend Hospital 04/10/10 aged 89.
Joined the Royal Navy, age 18 in 1939, and served to 1952 , rising to the rank of Petty Officer Stoker Mechanic, whilst serving on many ships during the war.
Loving partner to Ruth,father to Paul,Jane and Peter and grandfather to Grace,Melissa,Joseph,George,Freddie and Millie.
He loved his music (loud),sports(Southend United),comedy(Spike Milligan)and cooking (cakes),always cheerful.
He will be very much missed, as they only made one Stan.
Supporter of the R.N.L.I. and the great work the do in risking their lives to help others.
We miss you Dad,love Paul,Jane and Peter xxxx
