The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Leslie Goodyear

Picture of Leslie Goodyear.

Leslie Goodyear passed away on July 27 after a fall at home. Leslie was a Merchant Navy Engineering Officer during and after WW2, and continued his career with British Railways in shore-based positions, retiring in 1981 as Senior Superintendent Marine Engineer. He loved the sea and was an ardent supporter of the RNLI with Governor membership.

He would have been so pleased that people would wish to mark his passing with a gift to the RNLI
