The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Alan Robertson

Alan was an amazing family man who enjoyed the simple outdoors life. He was a caring father, a loving son, and a wonderful brother. He always had a great sense of humour, finding a joke at any given moment.

Alan lived on Mersea Island for 4 years which came to be his favourite place. He lived in Coast Road with his dog Alfie who he adored so much. Being a seaside loving man he was interested in boats and often watched the Lifeboats going out to sea.

Alan sadly passed away on his birthday on 31st Aug 2010.

We will all miss him more than words can say.
