The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Doreen Prince

Picture of Doreen Prince.

Doreen Prince was my nan, and sadly she passed away earlier this year. Today would have been her 90th birthday and she is much missed.

She had a real passion for the RNLI and the lifeboat service, stemming from her uncle who served as a crewman on the East Coast. Whenever she visited the the seaside, she would always make a special effort to pass by the local lifeboat station.

Several people have kindly donated some money since her funeral, and I'd like to think she'd be very happy to know that it has gone towards such a worthy cause.
