The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Alan Wynne Thomas

Picture of Alan Thomas.

Alan died on the 28th September 2008. A much loved husband, father, brother and friend. Alan was a passionate Welshman who had the sea in his blood. He sailed the Atlantic many times, and was one of the first British participants in the Vendee Globe (1992/93). 'If I should go away, Beloved, do not say 'He has forgotten me'. For you abide, A singing rib within my dreaming side; You always stay...... With love Jill
