The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Brian Page

Also known as: Granpa.

Having been a sailor with the Royal Navy during the second world war and retaining an enduring love of the sea and shipping in particular it seems highly appropriate to be making a donation on his behalf to this particular charity.

Having travelled by sea to Australia and back as a young man he subsequently spent much of his working life in the shipping industry working for Furness Withy.

He was a hugely interesting gentleman with many fascinating anecdotes about his life which will endure as marvelous memories for all those he spent time with.

He will be much missed I am sure by all who knew him.
