Picture of Derek John North M.B.E.

Derek was a devoted family man and much loved by all the family. As his brother, my wife Pearl and I had many happy times with him and Doreen his late wife.
Derek joined the Royal Navy at 15yrs old and later worked in the Diplomatic Service and travelled the world .He was awarded the M.B.E for
service to his country.
He was rescued by the RNLI after drifting out to sea when his engine failed on a fishing trip off Skegness in the 1960's.
