Johnny Morris - November 24, 1943 to February 23, 2008

Hard-worker was an understatement for Johnny Morris, holding two jobs was not uncommon. For many years if he wasn't bait digging down the beach at some twilight hour, he was off crabbing along the river just to make ends meet. Recognised by so many as he rode his bike through town.

Devoted husband to Christine Morris, a true romance was theirs to cherish, married for 44 years in January 2008. Father to Josephine, Susan and Talia, always there to help and advise us, no matter how daunting we thought the challenge might be.

Grandfather to Steven and Nikki, Natasha, Gary and Kao, Rachel, Daniel, Emily, Ruby, Joshua and Amy. The time spent with each of them will always be treasured. Blessed as a great-grandfather, all too briefly, when Caleb joined us for those few weeks.

Brother Tom, Derek and sister Elthea have such special memories to treasure of the years when they all grew up together. He'll be missed so very much, but he's joined his other siblings now, especially sister Jo.

We'll look after his garden for him - we know he enjoyed it so - we just can't promise that the runner beans will be as tasty!

Laid to rest at the Downs Crematorium in Brighton on Friday March 7th 2008, and scattered amongst the roses.

Rest In Peace Pops.
