The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Peter Senycia

Picture of Peter Senycia.

God’s little Angel

His hair was soft and milky white,
His eyes so very blue.
His smile lit up his tiny face,
As I entered in the morning light.

When he wore his light blue beret,
His eyes shone blue and so merry.
Why he had to go so young,
Only the months of twenty.
Maybe he’d suffered too long.

Jesus came and sang a song
Of little ones happy in heaven.
He won’t ever be forgotten,
Peter’s name means ‘the rock’
Rock a bye baby in heaven.

Bright sunlight, blue skies for ever and ever.
I feel I’m being led to write this poem.
It is the day Jesus died ‘Good Friday’
Jesus said “Suffer little children come unto me
And I will give them the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Peter had already gone
When I saw him lying there.
His white robe his ankles bare,
His tiny posy of flowers.
I could not kiss his cold white face
We cannot touch God’s Angels.
