Christopher Lamb

Chris was born in York and grew up in Middlesbrough. He was a world-renowned plant scientist, founder of the Plant Biology Laboroatory at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California and latterly Director of the John Innes Centre in Norwich. Chris leaves his wife Jane, three children Catherine, William and Donald and granddaughter Sadie.
Chris always supported the RNLI since he visited the lifeboat with his father who kept the accounts for the local boat.
