The RNLI saves lives at sea.

David John Nock

My Husband died in May 1994 aged 47 years. Although born in Weymouth he spent most of his life in Newhaven and was known in Newhaven as a Ship Wright working at Cantells Boat Yard and for 10 years he was a Charter Skipper and he knew several of the Newhaven Lifeboat Crew and acknowledged the wonderful work they do. At one time he was painting the top deck of his boat orange, and someone said to him that it was an awful colour and his reply was that "at least he would be seen from the air" if the need every arose !
