Roger David Ludford Passed away on thursday 8th November 2007. Roger was a shoreline member of the RNLI and was enthusiastc with all things to do with lifeboats.

Whenever he was near the coast he would go and visit the local Lifeboat station and usually after half an hour he would be on the boat chatting to the crew and taking pictures. Roger was especially keen to visit the Arklow lifeboat on his many visits to Ireland where my sister Rachael lived.

A keen sailor in his youth and early years my father spent plenty of time around water, he built his own sailing dinghy and taught me and Rachael how to sail. Many a fun afternoon was spent at the sailing club racing.

In his retirement he took up golf and it was on the golf course that he spent his final moments, thankfully this was a place that he loved. Dad will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
