The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Peter Dobbs

Peter passed away in January 2008. Throughout his life he was a loyal supportor of the RNLI. He frequently collected funds on behalf of the RNLI and had the greatest respect for the work they do. Peter loved the water and boats, he loved sailing and crusing on the Shannon. He sailed for many years in mermaids in Dublin Bay, and won the overall cup for 'best boat in Dublin Bay', 3 times in a row in the 1950s. On the Shannon, he cruised in the Charles Whitton, a converted life boat, for many happy years.
