The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Audrey Gover

Our aunt, Audrey Gover, was a long-term supporter of the RNLI.

Amongst her other interests were music, reading and the arts, and she was a very talented craftswoman, making many beautiful and useful things for her own home and others', and also for RNLI sales. She was also a keen gardener.

Audrey was always a loyal and supportive friend and family member, particularly to her parents and to her brother Ted, and in later years all her nephews and nieces, and in due course their children, were always generously remembered on their birthdays and at Christmas.

In her middle years she faced severe illness, but overcame this to resume work, and remained self-supporting and independent for the rest of her life. She enjoyed the support of many friends and neighbours who remained loyal to her for all her years.
