The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Dorothy Ashcroft

Also known as: Dot.

Picture of Dorothy Ashcroft.

Mum sadly passed away on 22 February 2007 aged 91 years.
She always enjoyed life to the full with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would enjoy a laugh and a joke with everyone and her tea and cake making were known far afield.
Mum spent many years collecting for the RNLI and as young children my brother and I would enjoy helping her collect the envelopes. Donations for the RNLI was thought to be appropriate, due to her much loved work for them, a fitting tribute to someone who was always there to help, no matter what. Mum you will be solely missed, but always in our hearts.
