James George Nevill

Also known as: Jim.

Jim was my dad he passed away June 30th 2007. He loved the sea and served in the Royal Navy until the war ended.
He was never happier than when at the coast any coast his dream was to one day own his own boat, unfortunately that dream never came real for him.
His respect for the Lifeboat crews was immense and something that he has passed on to myself and my brother, neither us or his widow ever pass the collection tins without digging deep.
His last trip out was to Cromer and surrounding coast line where we visited the R.N.L.I.shop i bought him a model of a lifeboat and as usual he made a donation and watched us to make sure we did also.
His last wish was to have his ashes scattered at sea, something which my brother and i are trying to organize at the moment.
My dads love and respect for the sea is something he has passed on to me,when i want to feel close to him i shall find a spot overlooking the sea and talk to him and my words will be carried on the wind out to him.
Rest now dad all is well.xxx
