Jack Cleare 1921-2000

B746 Phyl Clare 3 stationed at Weymouth entered service in 1998 in honour of Phyl and Jack's golden wedding anniversary.

Jack was a great supporter of the lifeboats and throughout his life enjoyed many visits, with his wife Phyl, to see their lifeboats on station and to meet the brave lifeboat men and women that crewed them. The lifeboats gave Jack much pleasure throughout his life and the relationship continues to be enjoyed by Phyl who remains an active supporter of her lifeboats.

Phyl and Jack were true soul mates and enjoyed a happy life together. One thing remained at the heart of Jack and that was his and his wife's passion for the lifeboats which endures in the lifeboats they have most generously supported.
