The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Wilfrid Taylor

Also known as: Wilf.

Wilf was quite a character and always supported RNLI throughout his life. Primarily visiting the RNLI shops during family holidays and when he lived in Barrow-in-Furness.

His association with RNLI was even more prevalent when in 1976 whilst on holiday at the Isle of Wight he had to be rescued after he got into difficulty when strong currents tipped him out of a dingy.

When Wilf was 80 we had a big party but no presents just donations to RNLI. Sadly, he passed away in January 2017 and the family requested donations in lieu of flowers which we are happy to present to RNLI.

RIP Wilf X
