Beckett William – (Bill)
Aged 91 passed away peacefully on the Eve of the 31st January 2015, with family by his side at his Levenshulme home of 57 years. Loving Father of David, Billy and Margaret, Caring Grandad of Paula, Pamela, Gloria, Mark, Orlan & Caroline, David, Gina & Steven. A Dear Father in Law, Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle and adored Great-Grandad. Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him; family, friends and neighbours. Highly respected as a World War II Veteran; former Sapper in The Forgotten Army and skilled Tool Maker Engineer & Fitter of Garret Steam Locomotives. A generous hearted man, who always put others first, they simply do not make them like this anymore. He is Now Reunited with his Beloved Wife, Anne. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to The Lifeboat Association, in memory of Bill Becket Service to take place at Manchester Crematorium in The Old Chapel on Thurs. 19th February at 1.20pm.
