The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Steven Adamson

Also known as: Steve Adamson.

Steve was a very good friend and always great company with a wonderful dry sense of humour.

He learned to sail in a Fireball on a lake in Tatton Park near Manchester and subsequently went sailing with the Ocean Youth Club.

He loved sailing, and sailed in the Lake District, along the English south coast and across the Channel to various parts of France, and we had some great adventures together.

Steve married Fay and moved to the USA and continued with some sailing along the western seaboard from San Diego.

He travelled the world with his job, but whenever he was in the UK he made the effort to get in touch and, when possible, come and stay for a short visit - as good friends do.

Steve was a strong supporter of the RNLI and is very much missed by Fay, his mother Ada and his relatives and many friends in the US and the UK.
