The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Appreciation For Robin Melville By Joe Phillips

I first met Robin back in june 2004 on my inaugural visit to Le Mans, and I can safely say that each and every time i have been in his company since then at parties/christenings/dinners etc there has never been a dull moment.Any host could be sure of a huge attendance as long as Robin was invited, although the people he had upset from the last party probable wouldnt go!I loved his company and thought he was a very warm and generous man.He could be contraversial but never boring. The world is a much more tedious place with out him and i for one miss him loads!
By the way here is a picture of him giving 6 times Le Mans winning driver Jacky Ickx some unappreciated driving tips!!!!!!!
