The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Appreciation For John Shuttleworth By Eric Mccready

John, You will be sorely missed by all your friends. And i include myself as one of your friends. I remember the nights Steve and I would come into to your house after being up at the pub, drunk as we were you and Beryl always made us welcome. We would talk into the small hours about everything, solving the worlds problems, and you trying to teach me about cricket.
The last time I saw you was in KFC on your way to another of your loves the militrary brass band, it was a great night of music, and I saw how you enjoyed the evening with Beryl.
John you were a good friend to me and I will always remember that. Thank you.
Your friend Eric.
