The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Appreciation For Rona Bowman By Clive Fisher

I must go down to the sea again to reminisce on Rona’s life
And all I ask is a quiet moment, free from life’s hard strife
To remember the smile on her rosy face when she saw the white sails shaking
And the care she took to instruct the young with all the patience she was taking

I must get afloat on the sea again and so must all her friends
To remember with pride as we gently glide to voyage that has an end
An end of the day in the Rona way with a tale to tell to her crew
When they’d done their best she let them rest, with a final evening brew

We must all go down to the sea again and keep the memory of Rona afloat
Whether it be in a gig, or an ocean yacht or some other sailing boat
And instruct the youngsters in our charge with the that typical loving care
As we all feel deep down in our heart that Rona’s spirit will always be there

God bless you Rona xx
