The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Appreciation For Gail Smith By Ryan Gunnigle

Hi Gail, it's your pest of a brother.

For the last few months I've had trouble sleeping at night and I always seem to think of you when I can't sleep.

I wish you could have met my girlfriend as I knew you wanted me to find someone. Well I'm very happy and proud to say I've found my soulmate, something I had no interest in before you were taken from us. Although I would give anything to have you back, even for just an hour so I could tell you what I think of you, it is because of the loss of someone so special that I had to re-evaluate what is important and precious in this life. So I decided to make conscious effort to find a bit of happiness. I got lucky!

Apart from being half of a couple, I can't say much has changed for me. I'm still an almighty pest to Mum and Dad, Alan and Julie and even Royston at times!

Well I'm starting to feel sleepy now and I'm sure it's no coincidence I've got something of my chest and I'm feeling a bit better about it all.

P.S Can you lend me £10 till Friday???

Love and miss you terribly
