The RNLI saves lives at sea.

Appreciation For Tom Moore By Matt Walkden

Uncle Tom was my Godfather and he taught me many simple things that have stayed with me throughout my own life, things about nature, he loved nature and taught me to, things about patience, he was a very patient man and when I'm feeling impatient he enters my thoughts.

As a child he was the uncle that I most looked forward to seeing, memories of that "tickling finger" will stay with me for ever, my cousins and I would torment him and he never became cross with us.

I hardly have any childhood memories of family holidays without Uncle Tom in them and they are all good memories that make me smile. Rest in peace with love. Matt
