Interesting Facts: Born 17/1/21. "Cyclops". Lost eye as a result of combat 25/5/42, but returned to operational flying. Became a test pilot. AFC 1/1/46 Tutor Empire Test Pilots'School. In 1958 set long distance helicopter record, Gatwick-Libya. Commanded V bomber base at Waddington
