Send to a Friend

Daddy was one of the many young men who volunteered for the RAF as soon as the war started. He mainly flew Wellingtons. He was fortunate to escape injury. He remained friends with two of his colleagues for the rest of their lives. He passed away in September 2010 aged 90 years. He wrote his life story called 'The First 80 Years' which gives us a good record of his life, and service with the RAF. The first picture shows him as a rookie of 4 days! The second photo was taken at his 80th birthday party.
