My brother John, sadly died on 8th March 2010.

John served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War as a Navigator with 102 Bomber Command Squadron.

The first picture is with his crew, John is standing to the right of the Pilot as you look at the photograph. The second is with a man unknown to me, with sideburns and the third is in the last decade of John's life: he contracted Polio in the 1950's (in the epidemic years) but managed to continue practising as a solicitor successfully - until the last three weeks of his life, which were spent at the Royal Star and Garter Home in Richmond.

The crew stayed in touch after the war and met up for celebrations every year in Yorkshire - I know this was very important to John.
