Kenneth Thomas Brown
May 1925 - February 2010
Ken volunteered for the RAF in 1943 and served as a gunner on Lancaster Bombers.
When the war ended he was sent to India on peace-keeping duties and was demobbed in 1947.
After leaving the service, he spent over thirty years at Rolls Royce in Derby before accepting early retirement in 1981.
His remaining working life was spent as steward of Ashbourne Ex-Servicemen's Club and retired in 1990.
Ken was much loved and is much missed by his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren – all of whom were very proud of him.
