Interesting Facts: Born 4-1-14. Orginally an RAF metal rigger. Went with 1 Squadron to France, credited with shooting down, on 17-6-40, the 111 that had sunk the Lancastria off St Nazaire. Awarded DFM (20-8-40) for this action.
