Ben Lyons

Ben served with 104 squadron in WWII, flying Wellingtons and Liberators in Italy (Foggia) and the Middle East. He belonged to Eastbourne and Hereford and the Marches ACA branches, and was a long time attendee of the ACA annual dinners in London and 104 squadron reunions in Shropshire. He lived in East Sussex for many years before moving up to Presteigne in the Welsh Marches to live near his daughter in 2005. Ben died peacefully on 29th January 2010 from pneumonia.
