Send to a Friend

We remember our father, grandfather and father-in-law with so much love and respect.
Geoffrey joined the RAF at the outbreak of WW2, became a bomber pilot flying Whitley's, and was shot down in November 1940. Spending the rest of the war as a POW, he finished up in Stalag Luft 3, Sagan, where he was affectionately known to his friends as 'The Trumpeter of Sagan'.
In later years he joined the RAAF, and served with No.1 MHU.
He was the most caring and unselfish person, and we always looked up to him; a true gentleman of the highest calibre.
