Albert Arthur Harris, born in Bedford on 20th December 1921 died at Waterloo Nursing Home, Bedford on 2nd October 2011 and was laid to rest wearing the Corps of Royal Engineers colours. Albert was a long serving member of the Royal Engineers Association and was attached to the Bedford Branch with fellow Sappers.
