The Corps of Royal Engineers

(1922 - 2006)

Also known as: A.B.Dhore.

 

89043 aged 84. He was from landlord family and his father was a businessman. After death of father, he left school and joined army in 1943 during second world war. He left army in 1946 due to reduction in army on demobilization.
Then he join police force and retired in 1977. He became chairman of Soldier welfare committee and done important work.
He was as much as soldier in civil life and very passionate about social issues.
He remained in contact with some of his contemporary from air force.
There are many things to say about him, he was most disciplined and caring person.
Above all, we loved you and you will remain in our heart as strength and courage.
