years old. Being a Japanese POW made him ill with Malaria and stomach ulcers. I have very fond memories of a loving caring father. I have one photograph of my father which I cherish, it was taken on his wedding day to my mum who is no longer with us.After a lot of research, Service records and POW records I am now the proud owner of three medals which my father never claimed. I am now retired and still miss him dearly.
