Dad battled on for over two years after Mum's death. He fought the pain of arthritis and loneliness with courage but slowly slipped into mild dementia. He is greatly missed by family and friends but his suffering has ended and he is at rest. Brenda Gwilliam writes [26th April 2011]:
A brave, courageous man who has left a gap in our lives.
