John Langley was a Founder Member of the Lichfield & Tamworth Branch Branch and until his death was the Treasurer. He was also an active member of the British Legion. He will be sadly missed.

he was a very active man always ready to help others, he was a church warden at our local church. he was a loving husbad and a great father i could not wish for any more. he is sadley missed but will never be forgoten

The Royal Engineers Association was formed under the conditions of a Deed of Declaration of Trust by the amalgamation of the original Royal Engineers Association and the Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund Ltd on 19 November 1968.
