Ian (ginge) Sutcliffe writes [18th December 2010]:

18/12/2010. I was saddened to read in the December edition of The Sapper, that CC had passed away.
I served with him on two occasions. First at Longmoor, during the late sixties and secondly in Cyprus, in the early seventies, when he was 2i/c of 62(NE)Support Sqn.
May I offer my condolences to his wife and family.
It was an honour and a privilage to serve with him. The world has lost a good man.
R.I.P.
Ian Sutcliffe
