Also known as: Ernie / Lofty.
Having worked mainly on searchlights during WW2, he remained an RE in spirit for the rest of his days. He died peacefully in his sleep 11th August 2010 and will be sadly missed by family and friends alike.

The Royal Engineers Association was formed under the conditions of a Deed of Declaration of Trust by the amalgamation of the original Royal Engineers Association and the Royal Engineers Benevolent Fund Ltd on 19 November 1968.
