His sense of adventure, inquisitive nature and sense of humour, so prominent and often troublesome during his childhood, stayed with him throughout his adult life. My dad was a very happy, dignified and sincere person. I can not find enough words to express how happy he made me feel everyday of my life. He told us so many stories of his life in the army which he enjoyed. My dad died how he wanted to, just went to bed for a nice long sleep. A very dignifed end to a very dignifed, and gentle man.

I first met Malcolm at the age of 14 when I met his eldest daughter Christine whom I married in 1972, he was a good and kind prospective father in-law and was an even better father in-law for the last 38 woderful years. Malcolm was one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
