337104 Aged 83 Commissioned in 1947 and retired in 1971. Beloved husband of Marguerite, loving father of Malcom, Steve, Tony and Bruce and family and friends. Former Life Member of the REA Luton Branch.

I had the pleasure of working with Alan at Fairey Engineering between 1982 - 4. He was engaging, helpful and left a great impression on me. Christopher Kershaw writes [3rd August 2009]:
Other colleagues employed at Fairey durning that time were Bob Farrar, Bill van Orden, Ron Finch and Rob Hamilton.
